Guide
Fund your wallet with crypto
Deposit from the first screen to credited store credit.
Funding
What can put money on a Kpali balance today.
Store credit is funded with stablecoins. That is the point of Kpali: no Nigerian bank account and no BVN stands between you and a paid bill.
USDT · TRC-20 (TRON)
The default across Nigerian crypto users — cheapest to send and the one people already hold.
USDT · BEP-20 (BNB Chain)
Cheap, widely held, and the usual second choice after TRON.
USDC · Base
Near-zero fees. Common for people who came in through an exchange rather than P2P.
USDC · Solana
Fast and cheap. Confirmations are counted at finalisation, not first commitment.
Nigerian bank transfer
Store credit can be bought with a naira bank transfer on the store-credit page — the one page here that takes payment. Credit bought that way cannot be withdrawn; it is spent in the app.
USDT on ERC-20
Ethereum gas regularly costs more than a small top-up, so Kpali does not take deposits on that network rather than let a fee eat your money.
Minimums differ by network — TRON's is the highest because TRON's own fee floor is. The app shows the exact figure for the network you pick before you send anything.

Funding is stablecoin. You choose what you are sending — USDT or USDC — and the network it will arrive on, and the app states the minimum before it shows you an address. The warning about the network sits above the address, not below it, because sending on the wrong chain is the one mistake nobody can reverse: not Kpali, not the sender, not anyone. There is no Nigerian bank account behind this and no BVN to supply, which is precisely why it works from anywhere.
The order on the screen is deliberate, and worth understanding before you use it, because one step in it is irreversible.
Step by step
- Open Add money. From Home or from the Wallet tab. The screen asks what you are sending before it asks anything else.
- Choose the stablecoin. USDT or USDC. This is what you will actually send.
- Choose the network. TRC-20 credits after twenty confirmations; BEP-20 after fifteen. The network is not a preference — it is the road the money travels, and the wrong one loses it.
- Read the warning above the address. It sits above the address rather than below it because a warning underneath is a warning nobody read. Send only the asset you selected, on the network you selected. Anything else — a different coin, or the right coin on the wrong network — is lost permanently and cannot be recovered by us or by anyone.
- Enter the email. The deposit screen asks for an email. Put your own address there to be notified when the money lands. Put somebody else's address there and the store credit is theirs — they are told it arrived and they spend it themselves. That single field is how one person funds another across a border without either of them holding a bank account in the other's country.
- Enter how much store credit you want. The minimum is stated before the address is shown. Anything smaller is refused by the network and will not arrive.
- Send from your wallet or exchange. Copy the address exactly. Then wait — an address is not money, and the store credit appears on Home only when the deposit has actually confirmed.
- Watch Home. Store credit updates when the funds land. History records the credit as money added.
What to expect
Deposits usually credit in under two minutes once the network has done its part. Usually is not a guarantee, and Kpali does not make one.
There is one other way in: a naira bank transfer on kpali.app/store-credit/, the one page on this website that takes payment. It needs an existing Kpali account with a verified email, it never asks for a card, and the credit it buys cannot be withdrawn — it is spent in the app.
What goes wrong
- Sending on a network you did not select. This is the one mistake with no remedy.
- Sending below the stated minimum, which the network refuses.
- Copying an address by hand instead of using the copy control.
- Treating the address as the money. Store credit on Home is the money.
Why this matters
Funding is the only step in Kpali that touches a system Kpali does not control, and it is therefore the only step where a mistake is permanent. Everything after it happens inside the app, where a failure reverses cleanly and a receipt records what happened. Before it, you are on a blockchain, and a blockchain does not have a support desk.
This is worth sitting with for a moment, because the entire product depends on it. Kpali can guarantee that a failed purchase reverses your store credit, that Pay will not proceed when you cannot afford it, and that a receipt will tell you the truth about whether money moved. It cannot guarantee anything about a transfer you send on a chain nobody at Kpali selected.
Hence the ordering on the screen. The asset first, the network second, the warning above the address, the minimum before the address, and the address last — so that by the time you are holding something you can paste into a wallet, every decision that could go wrong has already been made deliberately.
Once the credit lands, none of that applies again. Store credit is USD inside Kpali. It is not held in crypto, it does not move with the market, and a balance of 6,768.00 is 6,768.00 tomorrow.
If you have never sent stablecoin before, send a small amount first, above the stated minimum, and watch it arrive on Home. The cost of that rehearsal is a few cents in network fees, and it converts every abstract warning on this page into something you have actually seen happen.
One practical note on exchanges: some let you choose the withdrawal network and some decide for you. Check before you send, because the network your exchange picks is the network the money actually travels on, regardless of what you selected on the Kpali screen.
What you will see
The screens below are real captures, not illustrations made to look like an app. These are the screens this page refers to when it says fund your wallet with stablecoin. Both the light and the dark theme appear, because the app follows your phone.
- Kpali wallet showing USD store credit with Add money and Send (light theme)
- Kpali Add money screen choosing USDT and the TRC-20 network with the wrong-network warning (light theme)
- Kpali Add money screen in dark mode with stablecoin and network selection (dark theme)
- Entering how much store credit to buy on the Kpali deposit screen (light theme)
- Kpali network choice warning that the wrong chain cannot be recovered (light theme)
- Kpali history showing money added to store credit (light theme)
Questions
Which network should I choose?
Whichever your sending wallet actually supports. TRC-20 credits after twenty confirmations, BEP-20 after fifteen. The only wrong answer is a network you did not select on the Kpali screen.
What happens if I send on the wrong chain?
It is lost, permanently, and nobody can recover it — not Kpali, not the exchange. This is why the warning is above the address rather than below it.
How long does a deposit take?
Usually under two minutes once the network confirms. Usually is not a guarantee and none is offered.
What if I send less than the minimum?
The network refuses it and it does not arrive. The minimum is stated before the address is shown.
Can I fund from an exchange?
Yes, provided the exchange lets you withdraw the asset on the network you selected.
Is my balance in crypto?
No. Store credit is USD. Stablecoin is how it is funded, not how it is held.

These guides teach a phone app. The website sells store credit on one page and nothing else; spending happens on the handset.
This guide describes the app. The one page here that takes payment is store credit by bank transfer; no page asks for a card.
Fund your wallet with crypto. Deposit from the first screen to credited store credit.
Kpali takes no card details on this website, ever. The one payment it takes is a naira bank transfer for store credit, on /store-credit/. A page asking for a card number for Kpali is not us.
Admin URLs are intentionally absent from navigation, sitemaps and robots allow-lists.
When Claude finishes the completeness wave, real device screenshots replace the token-built phone frames without changing the red circle targets.
Download Kpali from Google Play (package app.kpali) or the App Store (id 6802318301).
Create an account. You do not need a local bank account to start.
Open Add money. Read the network warning above the address. Enter the amount. The minimum is stated before you copy.
Enter an email: yours to be notified, or theirs if this deposit should credit another person.
Send the crypto on the stated network. Wait until Home shows store credit. An address is not money.
Set the country to Algeria.
Open Airtime. Home → country → Airtime → network → number → amount → Pay.
Confirm a mobile number on the review sheet. Pay is blocked if the balance cannot cover it.
Keep the receipt. Receipt + History show the number, network, amount and status.
If status is Checking, do not retry. Read the receipt. Support is email and WhatsApp.
