What it is

A gift card on Kpali is a digital voucher delivered as a code. You choose a brand, choose a denomination, pay from store credit, and the code arrives on the receipt.

Each brand is redeemable in a specific country, and the app says which one on the row — a card redeemable in the United States is not the same product as the same brand redeemable in Germany.

The price you pay is shown in the currency of your store credit alongside the card's own face value, so there is no mental arithmetic at the moment of purchase.

Why this is hard from another country

A gift card is the simplest product here and the one with the sharpest edge: the code is a bearer instrument. Whoever holds it can spend it, which makes where you keep it a security decision rather than a filing one.

The second edge is the redemption country. The same brand is a different product in a different market, and a card bought for the wrong one is not refundable into the right one.

The recipient for this product is you (code) or the person you send it to. This product has no name lookup, so the review sheet carries the whole weight of confirming where it is going.

Brands are listed with the country they are redeemable in — the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, South Africa and many more.

How to buy it

The money path is the same shape for every product, but the detail below is this one's.

1. Install Kpali and create an account. No bank account and no BVN are required to begin.
2. Fund store credit with stablecoin. Choose USDT or USDC and the network. The warning about the network sits above the address because the wrong chain cannot be undone. The minimum is stated before the address appears. Put your own email in to be notified, or somebody else's to credit them instead.
3. Wait for Home to show the credit. An address is not money; store credit is.
4. Open Gift cards. Home → Gift cards → brand → denomination → Pay → code on receipt.
5. Check the recipient. You (code) or the person you send it to — read it back before paying.
6. Read the review sheet. It states what leaves your wallet, including the fee, before anything is charged.
7. Pay. If store credit cannot cover the amount plus the fee, Pay does not proceed and no provider is called.
8. Keep the receipt. A code on the receipt, with the brand, the face value and the redemption country recorded in History.

Store credit by naira bank transfer is sold on one web page, kpali.app/store-credit/. It needs a Kpali account with a verified email.

What decides availability

Brands are listed with the country each is redeemable in, and that country is the most important word on the row.

Availability is answered before your money is involved. A reasoned refusal is worth more than a blank space.

What you pay

The face value is in the card's own currency; what you pay is shown in USD beside it, before you buy, so there is no arithmetic at the moment of purchase.

What leaves your wallet is shown first and is not revised. Shortfalls stop the order in the app.

What the receipt carries

The receipt holds the code, the brand, the face value and the redemption country. It is the canonical copy, not a convenience copy.

Outright failure means the debit is reversed with a plain statement. An unsettled order means wait, not retry. For gift cards, an order still being checked means the provider has not confirmed the a code on the receipt, with the brand, the face value and the redemption country recorded in History yet — waiting costs nothing, paying again can cost twice.

Mistakes people make

• Buying a brand redeemable in the wrong country. The row states the country; it is the most important word on it.
• Screenshotting the code and deleting the receipt, then having nothing to show if the code is queried.
• Sharing a code before redeeming it. A gift-card code is a bearer instrument — whoever has it can spend it.
• Buying a denomination the brand does not accept for the intended purchase.
• Assuming a declined card is Kpali's fault. Sometimes it is — and when it is, the check is fixed rather than explained away.

Where is my code?

On the receipt, which stays in History. It is not only sent by email and it does not disappear.

Does the country on the row matter?

It is the most important thing on it. A card is redeemable where the brand says, not where you bought it.

What if the code does not work?

Contact support with the receipt. Declines happen for reasons that are sometimes the issuer's and sometimes ours; either way the receipt is what makes it resolvable.

Can I send it to someone else?

Yes — send them the code. Treat it like cash until it is redeemed.

Can I get a refund on a card?

Once a code is issued and redeemed it cannot be recalled. If it was never delivered, the receipt shows that and support can act on it.

Is there a web checkout?

Not for this. The app is the till; the website sells only store credit, by bank transfer, on kpali.app/store-credit/.

Can I buy a card for a country I am not in?

Yes. The row states where it is redeemable, and that is what governs.

How should I send a code to someone?

Send it the way you would send cash, and only to the person meant to have it.

The same money, spent differently

Everything on this list spends the same store credit you already hold.

• Quick OTP — Rent a real number, receive the code, reuse the window the product gives you. A rented number, then the code itself on the await screen and on the receipt.
• Airtime — Top up any phone — all it needs is the number. The credit lands on the number. The receipt names the number, the network, the amount and the state.
• Mobile data — Data bundles, delivered straight to a phone number. The bundle lands on the number. History keeps the plan name, its validity and the delivery state.

The mechanics do not change between products. Only the thing being paid does.
