The situation

South Africa carries several of the families at once — electricity, data, airtime and more — and the pattern across them is the same: choose the provider, enter the account, confirm the name, pay.

What differs is the recipient, and the app changes shape around it rather than asking you to remember which is which.

What Kpali does about it

Prepaid tokens and postpaid bills, against your meter number.

It goes: Home → country → Electricity → provider → meter/account → lookup → Pay. The recipient is meter or account number (name looked up first).

The name registered against it comes back before you can pay, so the money lands where you meant it to.

Getting there from nothing

1. Install the app and create an account. No bank account and no BVN.
2. Fund it with stablecoin on a chain your sending wallet actually supports.
3. Enter the email that should be told when the money lands — it decides whose credit this is.
4. Wait for Home to show the credit. An address is not money.
5. Home → country → Electricity → provider → meter/account → lookup → Pay.
6. Confirm the recipient on the review sheet, then Pay. It does not proceed if store credit cannot cover the total.
7. Keep the receipt. A prepaid token on the receipt, or a settled postpaid account with the receipt as proof.
